Stiga STS 385 Review

The Stiga STS 385 is a rock solid table tennis table.  The ¾ inch tabletop with 2 inch steel apron makes the bounce you get on this table very close to a tournament level table.

While this table tennis table is constructed very well, it will take some time to set up. It doesn't come nearly assembled like the Stiga STS 420 so it’ll take you about 2 hours to put together with a friend.  Once it’s all set up though, you've got a table tennis table that will last for a very long time.

The Stiga STS 385 is a competition ready table. It’s not quite up to the job of being a full Tourney table, but this one will do the job for any kind of amateur tournament that you might want to throw. The consistent bounce and excellent play ability and durability make this table very versatile.

This table is so full of features. Stiga is well known for the thought they put into the features of their tables, and they haven’t left the STS 385 out.  This table comes with the patented integrated ball holder that comes on all higher end Stiga tables.  You never have to go searching for a lost ball again – extras are right at your fingers, on both ends.

The Stiga STS 385 is also simple to move. It comes with 5 inch mag wheels that will roll easily over any surface, and are in fact designed to ensure easy rolling over carpet.  That makes this table easy to transition to solo play, as well as fold up completely if you need the space for something else.
Conclusion

This table will excel at helping improve the skills of a competitive table tennis player, or be the cornerstone of your recreational games room.  Whatever your desired outcome – to be the best table tennis player in the world, or just the best among your friends, the Stiga STS 385 will help you get there.
