Stiga STS 420 Review

The Stiga STS 420 is a fantastic table tennis table that complies with all tournament standards and has a thickness of 1 inch.  This table is well built and has some great design innovations.

This table has an excellent bounce and its 1 inch top is reinforced by a 2 inch steel apron. .  This table also includes silk screened striping, which means there is no sticker to peel off or crack.  All of this combined ensures a consistent bounce across the whole table surface.

The Stiga STS 420 includes 5 inch mag wheels which make moving the table very simple over any surface.  This also helps with transitioning the table for solo play a breeze.   The wheels also help with folding the table up to roll totally out of the way if you need the space.

This table also has 2.5 inch steel legs that are able to be individually leveled – making sure that no matter what the floor of your games room looks like, you’ll always be playing on a perfectly level surface.

Setting this table up once it’s delivered is easy to do; the table comes almost completely put together and you just need to screw in the final few screws.  You will need a second person to get the table to its final location, however.  It is very heavy.

The Stiga STS 420 also has a patented ball storage container built right into the 2 inch steel apron. The ball storage is present on both sides of the table and is a very convenient addition to this great table.

With this table being so simple to put together and including so many perks  it’s nearly a no brainier as an addition to your games room. This table is solidly built and will last.
